A very early version of the brand with a batch number indicating Sepptember 29th 1983 Distilled date, making this bottle somewhere in the mid to late 90s - many of these old batches had barrels even older than 15 years. Some of the finest whiskey to come out of Bardstown, under such an unassuming label these seem to have gotten gobbled up quick.
Please note that after many years small cracks develop in the wax.
