Very Olde St. Nick 17 year 116.2 proof Van Winkle Era circa 1990-1991

An early bottling of the Old St. Nick Brand  bottled by Julian Van Winkle circa 1990 however this bottling carries both a Bardstown back label as well as a specific Japanese Import label that is consistent with the series of wax topped bottles Julian Van Winkle bottled for the Japanese market at the time where demand was high for well aged bourbon. It does seem more likely that the labels were printed for KBD as bottling would move over there sometime after the Stitzel Weller Distillery closed in 1992. The import label is most likely specific to bottles in 1990-1991. Most likely filled with Boone Whiskey which Julian used for a number of other wax topped bottles from the era. An Incredibly rare bottle with very few left in existence.
